Before we talk about what the basement could look like, we look at what it's doing. Where water has been. What the walls and the slab tell you. Where it's coming from.

If there's an active water problem, that gets solved first, by whoever is right for it. We'd rather have that conversation before the job than during it.

Licensed trades

Wiring, lighting circuits, plumbing for a basement bathroom, and any HVAC extension are handled by licensed subcontractors we coordinate. We don't do that work ourselves, and we won't describe it as ours.

Egress

A finished basement with a bedroom has egress requirements. That's a real design constraint worth knowing about early, not a detail. It can change what's possible in the layout before the framing starts.

Permits

Renovation work in these towns frequently requires permits and inspections, and the requirements vary from one municipality to the next. We handle the coordination.
