Platinum Werx is a Sparta, New Jersey home improvement and handyman company. The range is the point: the same crew hangs a TV on Tuesday and guts a bathroom in March. Most handymen can't do the renovation. Most renovation contractors won't take the small job. This one does both.

The company is run by Luke McNicholas, who came into construction from a hospitality background. That shapes how the work gets done. Hospitality is an industry organised around the customer's experience of being in a space, and construction mostly isn't. Show up when you said you would. Answer the phone. Explain what you're doing. Put down drop cloths. Clean up every day, not just at the end. Treat somebody's house like it's somebody's house.

The work is insured. It covers general home improvement and handyman work across Sussex, Morris and Warren County — everything from drywall patches and painting to decks, kitchens and additions.
